DOGGY ART AT THE MARINA
will be at the WEST END of the Marina next to the shelter booth at the Art Fair from 10am till 4pm during Fair hours. (10am - 4pm)
Your pet, with paws dipped in non-toxic tempera paints, can create his or her own masterpiece! (We’ll have water buckets available to wash paint off.)
RULES
1 – All dogs MUST be on a 6’ or shorter leash.
2 – Small pets(dogs and cats) MUST be in crates.
3 – Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
4 – Doggy Art prices 22” x 28” $10.00

11” x 14” 5.00
5 – Pet owners are responsible for pet toilet cleanup, and control their pets.
6 - Pet paws MUST be washed off before leaving the booth area.
ALL PROCEEDS from DOGGY ART AT THE DOCK will benefit the homeless, but very adoptable pets of Schoolcraft County.

THE IMPORTANCE OF FUNDRAISERS
We post these fundraisers because it is so important to the operation of the shelter. 90+% of the shelter costs are covered by private donations and our numerous on-going fundraising activities. We try to have different ideas that will appeal to our entire community. We have retail items, photo contests, craft fairs, annual dinners, bake sales and several other activities to generate as much interest in our fundraisers as we can. We hope to see you at one of our fundraisers. If you cannot attend, we always accept any donation - monetary, service or volunteer – we sincerely appreciate it all. We try to keep our presence in the public eye at most functions in the community. We want to thank you – the community – for your continued support. Without your help we couldn’t continue to house and care for our homeless, but very adoptable, pets of Schoolcraft County.

Rocking Horse Raffle
Raffle tickets are now available for a Wood Rocking Horse, handcrafted by local artist, Dan Crosby. Palomino coloring, the horse is 3' H and 4-1/2' long. Tickets available from the shelter and shelter members and volunteers. Drawing will be at the annual Craft Fair on October 16, 2010 at 130pm at the Hiawatha Community Building in Manistique.
