THE IMPORTANCE OF FUNDRAISERS
We post these fundraisers because it is so important to the operation of the shelter. 90+% of the shelter costs are covered by private donations and our numerous on-going fundraising activities. We try to have different ideas that will appeal to our entire community. We have Sayklly’s chocolates, retail items, photo contests, craft fairs, annual dinners, bake sales and several other activities to generate as much interest in our fundraisers as we can. We hope to see you at one of our fundraisers. If you cannot attend, we always accept any donation - monetary, service or volunteer – we sincerely appreciate it all. We try to keep our presence in the public eye at most functions in the community. We want to thank you – the community – for your continued support. Without your help we couldn’t continue to house and care for our homeless, but very adoptable, pets of Schoolcraft County.
